Jordan Taylor
My name is Jordan Taylor and I'm from the music capital of the world, Nashville, Tennessee! I'm 16 years old and a junior in high school. I'm a self-confessed nerd, amateur astronomer, independent (published) author, wannabe physicist, fashion designer, and above all pineapple enthusiast. My passion for STEM started with astronomy and cosmology but has branched out to mechanical engineering, theoretical physics, emerging technologies, philosophy, and all math in general. Outside of all that awesome sauce, I enjoy fashion design, poetry, dance, playing guitar (and pretty much all music in general), reading, writing, learning foreign languages, taking pictures of random stuff, and chilling with my super fly cat.
I've always been a bit of a tomboy, a quality that has not always been accepted by others. However, from a very young age, I learned that in the world of dreams, there are no men or women, just people with passion. Don't ever let someone tell you that you can't do something or won't be as good at it because of your gender, race, size, etc. The qualities that make up you are the ones that will set you apart and give you a different perspective on things. Being a girl in STEM, I often find myself thinking of things the guys never did, because of my construction experience in sewing. See Jordan's latest update here! |
